Born and raised on the West Coast, Lauren moved from the mainland to Victoria in 2008 to attend the University of Victoria. After completing her degree, teaching abroad and obtaining her Bachelor of Education from UBC, she returned to the Island to begin her teaching career.
Lauren began practising yoga in 2014 and her only regret is that she didn’t start sooner! Yoga has since become an integral part of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. She also loves sharing yoga with her students and incorporates it into daily Social and Emotional learning.
If you can’t find Lauren at the studio, she is most likely walking along Dallas Road (asking strangers if she can pet their dog), planning her next trip, reading a book in Beacon Hill park or biking around the city in search of the perfect coffee/bagel duo.
