Kim started practicing yoga in 2007, after her Grandad’s death. “I was literally running away from the deep grief I felt. I found yoga helped me to sustain an intense running schedule during training to run a half marathon.”
Kim moved to Victoria in 2009 and continued running and practicing yoga. Her yoga practice has helped her to cope with the stress of working with folks who struggled with addiction, homelessness and mental health.
In her yoga classes, she teaches mindful movement aimed to slow down both your body and mind. Kim weaves in themes of metta-loving kindness, and self-compassion. She aims to empower her students to trust their inner potential to heal from the inside out.
