Yin + Sound Journey – An Inner Journey to Peace

DATE: May 3rd
TIME: 8:00 – 9:30 PM

Pilar Munoz will guide a 60 minute yin practice followed by a Sound Journey using crystal alchemy bowls, gongs and other sacred instruments. The Yin practice will create connection to breath as the poses allow for sensation and release of any physical needs in the body. A receptivity to our inner world and subtle energy is begun. The Sound Journey, through the use of crystal alchemy bowls and gongs, is an inner journey guided by numerous sounds of different and powerful frequencies all resonating in different parts of the body. These tones can guide us to a place or total relaxation in which healing and connection to our higher consciousness can take place. A stress release at its deepest level and it will leave you with a prolonged sense of well being, in body, mind and soul.

Join Jonathan Boyd to learn Handstand in progressive small steps. Each stage is a building block for the full expression of the pose. By appreciating each little step you will harness more courage, make further progress, and have lots of fun.

Some of the techniques you will learn:
– Strengthening your upper body for greater confidence
– Kicking up to the wall
– Using the wall to balance
– Using partners to find alignment
– Safely “fall” out of handstand
– Advanced options for experienced students

The workshop will feature preparatory work for upper body strength, opening the hips, and allow sufficient cool-down time to settle the vibrant energy.

First Steps to Flight
Be prepared to work, surprise yourself, and have a great time!
