We host workshops throughout the year offered by local instructors and teachers from afar! Workshops are a great way to explore different practices, to gain deeper knowledge, and to connect even more as a community. In addition to workshops, we also host parties, community gatherings, and charity events. Check out our newsletter for upcoming events or contact our Faculty Director at programs@yogalabvictoria.ca to inquire about how to offer a workshop at our studio.

Please Note: We do not offer refunds on our Workshops/Events. If you are unable to attend, you are more than welcome to give your space to a friend or family member.

Bowspring is a new methodology of mindful movement.
It aligns with modern day science and anatomy to create a functional and dynamic postural form. The Bowspring template aligns the natural curvature of the spine- working to bring our bodies back into their most optimal and health form. Bowspring maintains an untucked pelvis and honours your natural lumbar curve. It builds back body strength – in the glutes, hamstrings, and spine.
Full body mindfulness and muscle awareness creates a mentally stimulating, dynamic, fluid, curvy, and fun practice.

Join Katie & Brandon, certified Thai Yoga Massage Practitioners, as they teach you how to give and receive a 30 minute Thai Massage sequence that you can perform on friends, family and loved ones.
Thai Yoga Massage is a style of massage that utilizes broad & targeted acupressure, palming, thumbing, and other massage techniques, while moving the receiver through a variety of ranges of motion that mimic yoga postures. Think about it as a yin class where someone else moves you through the movements and massages you at the same time!
No experience required but you must register with a partner (someone you feel comfortable to touch). Expect to leave feeling relaxed, stretched, and confident in offering these basics techniques. You will leave with a print out of the techniques so that you can remember even after the workshop.
**Register below, and 2 spots will be held in the workshop for you**

Acro yoga is playful practice that combines yoga and partner acrobatics. It is a practice that helps to build, not only, physical strength, but also trust, communication, and community.

Come with an openness to play and surprise yourself with what you are truly capable of. This is a great workshop for you if you are willing to meet new people, willing to challenge yourself in a new way, and willing to laugh!

Pilar Munoz will guide a 60min yin practice followed by a 60min Sound Journey using crystal alchemy bowls, gongs and other sacred instruments. The Yin practice will create connection to breath as the poses allow for sensation and release of any physical needs in the body.

A receptivity to our inner world and subtle energy is begun. The Sound Journey, through the use of crystal alchemy bowls and gongs, is an inner journey guided by numerous sounds of different and powerful frequencies all resonating in different parts of the body. These tones can guide us to a place of total relaxation in which healing and connection to our higher consciousness can take place.

A stress release at its deepest level and it will leave you with a prolonged sense of well being, in body, mind and soul.
